We represent thousands of sick people in the 9/11 community every day. They tell us the sad news that they have been diagnosed with one or more of the 68 cancers that NIOSH has linked to the WTC toxic dust. The WTC disaster was one of the world’s biggest environmental disasters. The building debris, consisting of benzene, asbestos and a host of other toxins, was on fire for 99 days. I’m delighted to see that the medical community is now providing the studies that support the common sense conclusion that cancers were caused by the toxic exposure.”
