As many of you likely know, I frequently reach out to the media to shine a light on issues regarding the World Trade Center Health Program and 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.
Today, the Daily News published my letter spreading awareness about how unfairly disabled non-firefighters and police officers are treated. I made the point that the toxic dust didn’t discriminate, so neither should the City and State of New York. We must all support the goal of fair treatment and equal compensation for those responders suffering from their WTC exposure.
