Thank you for attending the 9/11 Informational Seminar at the United Federation of Teachers. We hope that you learned a lot about the World Trade Center Health Program and Victim Compensation Fund (VCF). We are so grateful to UFA President Mike Mulgrew and Ellie Engler, executive assistant to the President and the director of staff for the UFT.
We are honored that hundreds of you took the time to hear our panel of 9/11 advocates discuss the importance of registering for both programs now, even if you are currently healthy. Now that the free health program and the VCF have been permanently extended, and 68 cancers have been linked to the WTC toxins, it is critical to secure your evidence from witnesses who can attest to your presence in the downtown exposure zone. As Jon Stewart said, “you are entitled to these benefits so access them now!”
I’d like to share a condensed 14 minute video of the event for those of you who weren’t able to attend. I respectfully ask all of you to share the video with your friends, neighbors, work colleagues, fellow students, and anyone else who was in downtown Manhattan on 9/11, or during any part of the following 8 months.
