9/11 InjuriesFirst Responders

Finding Hope After Tragedy

December 10, 2020 | Michael Barasch

Our client Fred Guttenberg lost his brother, a physician and first responder, who survived the collapse of the towers, only to succumb to 9/11 cancer years later. Shortly thereafter, Fred’s 14-year-old daughter Jaime was killed in the Parkland shooting. Through his terrible grief, Fred sought out the helpers that were all around him, and found a renewed sense of purpose himself. His beautiful book, Find the Helpers, is so important for the 9/11 community. We have suffered terrible losses, but there are helpers all around us.  Fred Guttenberg’s book is now available on Amazon and at other booksellers.
