I was working for the NYC Department of Sanitation at the time of the attacks at the Fresh Kills Landfill. As a tractor operator, I spent 30 days at the site, working on removing debris to assist searchers recovering bodies, then spent the next 8 months at the Landfill working on the same. I contacted Barasch & McGarry and have been certified for 5 medical conditions that will be forever covered by the Health Program. I have also received a reward from the Victim Compensation Fund. Thank you for your dedication to the 9/11 community.
