In December I received my award and since then I’ve been searching for the right words to express my heartfelt appreciation. Throughout the process I was helped by several members of your staff.
Bill Landau encouraged me to file a claim even though I had misgivings because I felt I didn’t qualify as I was not disabled by my cancer and respiratory problems. Travis, Trevor, and Josh were always available to answer my questions, and Cayla pushed me into tracking down someone I worked with who could vouch for our presence in the 9/11 crash site. It was not an easy task as the small consulting company we worked for went out of business the following year. Fortunately, I found her on LinkedIn, an internet website.
Thanks to your dedication and commitment to helping the victims of 9/11, I like many others, have peace of mind knowing that the award and the medical monitoring services are there if I should need special medical services. I feel someone is watching over me and I am not alone.
