Announcing the Health Care Worker Lunch Donation Program from Barasch & McGarry

April 17, 2020 | Michael Barasch

Amidst the chaos of the COVID-19 crisis, many of our health care heroes on the front lines of this pandemic have resorted to eating their lunches and dinners from vending machines. It breaks our hearts to think about our heroes not having a proper meal while they risk their lives every day to protect us and save lives.

In response, in partnership with the FealGood Foundation, we are proud to announce the Barasch & McGarry Health Care Worker Lunch Donation Program. Our firm is facilitating deliveries of meals to hospitals in the New York area 2-3 times per week. Please watch Managing Partner Michael Barasch announce this initiative below.

So far, meals have been provided to the workers at: Mount Sinai Hospital, NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital, Stony Brook Hospital, Saint Catherine of Siena Hospital, Southside Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, and Mount Sinai South Nassau. And, we have many hospitals whose nurses, doctors, and staff will receive meals in the upcoming weeks. We feel blessed to be able to help so many people.

Please join us in thanking our health care workers for their bravery and hard work during these times.

Respectfully,
The Barasch & McGarry Family

These are the real heroes!! When we went 19 years ago, we had no reason to believe we’d be in danger. These health care workers KNOW they’re in mortal danger and keep on coming. That’s truly the definition of HERO
