Mission Accomplished! 50,000 Masks and 2,500 Meals Donated by July 4th

July 2, 2020 | Michael Barasch

On America’s 244th birthday, we have so much to be grateful for. We are proud to announce that we have reached our goal of 50,000 masks and 2,500 meals donated by July 4th.

Since March, while all of us were working remotely, we were able to help thousands of frontline responders and health care workers through our firm’s “Lunch and Mask Donation Program”. Attorneys and staff at our firm personally delivered meals to 75 medical facilities throughout the tri-state area. We also donated masks to every firefighter and EMT, and to over three dozen police precincts, correctional and sanitation facilities, as well as to many nursing homes.

We invite you to watch this short video covering our donations.

Meanwhile, we are delighted that the Governor and Mayor have given us permission to reopen our office. To be safe during this ongoing health crisis, we will be rotating our attorneys and staff so that half of us are in the office while the other half keep working productively from their homes. This is likely going to be the “new normal” for quite a while.

However you are spending this day, we would like to wish you a meaningful and safe July 4th. We are honored to be able to give back during this time. It is a privilege to represent the 9/11 community, including our troops and first responders who keep this country safe.

Happy Independence Day,
The Barasch & McGarry Family

You were there to help 9-11 victims and families, now you continue to give donations to our First Responders. You should all be proud of yourself, you have such great hearts and compassion to help others.

I’m proud of not only being a retired NYC police officer but for choosing your firm to represent me on all my WTC needs. I enjoyed the video and I must say that your firm’s continued acts of kindness towards the first responders is what undeniably makes your firm the best in the nation. God Bless and Have A Safe 4th of July Weekend
