Biography
Dana Cohen is a Senior Partner at Barasch & McGarry where she co-leads the firm’s Family Assistance Team which represents families who have lost a loved one to 9/11-related disease.
Ms. Cohen first came to work at Barasch & McGarry in 1998 as a paralegal, and attended law school at night, graduating magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School. Ms. Cohen has devoted her career to seeking justice for seriously injured people. In addition to leading the Family Assistance Team, she has handled some of the firm’s most complex cases, including those arising from medical malpractice, product liability, and firefighter accidents. Through her dedication and legal expertise she has recovered millions of dollars for the firm’s clients in many high-profile cases. In addition, she is one of the firm’s leading appellate practitioners.
