Biography
Delaram (Dela) Yousefi is an Associate at Barasch & McGarry who handles 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) claims.
Dela joined Barasch & McGarry in 2022.
Prior to working at Barasch & McGarry, she worked as an attorney advisor for the U.S. Small Business Administration assisting clients affected by natural or manmade disasters, which was an extension of the type of work she had performed at the Disaster Relief Clinic in law school.
Upon her law school graduation, she worked as a family attorney for over four years, where she advocated for her client’s position with regards to their legal family matters.
Here at Barasch & McGarry, she combines her passion and experience representing families of deceased 9/11 victims to ensure their rights are properly represented in surrogate’s court over the deceased estate.
