Biography

Eric Graf is a Associate Attorney for Barasch & McGarry’s 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) practice.

Eric was born and raised in Syracuse where he spent winters playing hockey and summers attending concerts and music festivals. He studied Sociology and U.S. History at the University at Albany, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2013. After serving his home community as an employee of the Syracuse City School District, he moved to New York City in 2019 to attend CUNY School of Law, where he served as a Staff Editor on the Law Review.

Eric is a strong believer in the importance of a government that is accountable to the people it represents. He will never forget the EPA’s assurances that the air was safe to breathe, and is proud to work at a firm that dedicates its practice to serving the 9/11 community. As a lifelong New Yorker, Eric has his own personal connection to 9/11 through his father, a member of the New York Air National Guard, who responded to the attacks at the World Trade Center and was subsequently diagnosed with cancer. When given the opportunity to join Barasch & McGarry and help people like his dad access the free health care and compensation they deserve, he felt called to take it.
