Biography
Katie Lesser is an Associate at Barasch & McGarry’s 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) practice.
Katie was born and raised in Manhattan. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University. After completing her undergraduate studies, Katie began her career in news production, working with both CNN and MSNBC. She later transitioned into the non-profit sector, where she spent several years in fundraising, developing a strong commitment to advocacy and community impact.
Katie subsequently pursued her legal education at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, graduating in 2023. She then joined Barasch & McGarry where she leverages her diverse professional background to deliver thoughtful, client-focused representation throughout the VCF claim submission process.
