Biography
Katarzyna Bajek is an Associate Attorney in Barasch & McGarry’s 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund Practice.
Born and raised in Poland, Katarzyna earned a master’s degree in law from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. She then continued her legal education at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York and was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2024.
Katarzyna joined the firm in 2022 as a paralegal and was promoted to Associate Attorney following her admission to the bar. She now works with 9/11 families, helping them handle the estates of loved ones who were lost. She brings care, patience, and a deep respect for each family’s experience to this work. She is fluent in Polish and welcomes the opportunity to assist Polish-speaking clients. Outside the office, Katarzyna enjoys traveling and is currently learning Spanish.
